Conducting the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra last night was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I’m still feeling the orchestral high! It was all topped off by the fact that my friends and family were there by my side. I want to bottle up this feeling and keep it forever.
The Hollywood Chamber Orchestra is a professional orchestra for hire and has the variety and versatility that not may orchestras can match. Their roster has been used from as small as a soloist and up to 100+ piece orchestra. It was such a pleasure to work with these amazing musicians that are veterans in the film and media scoring community, as well as traditional orchestral performance.
The second annual World Premieres concert was held at the magnificent Ricardo Montalban Theater in Hollywood. It is one of the very few remaining mid-sized fully equipped theatres in Los Angeles. Known for its excellent sightlines and acoustics it really is one of the BEST!
Congratulations to my fellow composers whose pieces sounded amazing! I want to give a huge thanks to Mark Robertson for convincing me to do this, as well. Mark is my contractor and Concertmaster. He has contracted everything I have done in Los Angeles and has supported me through and through! Lastly, I want to thank everyone who made it out to listen to all of this wonderful music. Thanks again!
Look at the back of my dress! Who says you need to wear a suit to conduct!
