This post is definitely a surreal one to be writing… It is a childhood dream come true to be working on such a project as insanely iconic as Justice League with the world-renowned Danny Elfman. I am and have been a huge fan of Danny for years and still haven’t fully digested being a part of this film.
Justice League was directed by the very talented Zack Synder and the story takes place inside the iconic DC universe a few months after the events in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. They have been working and developing this film for about three years and they bring back some familiar stars like Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Gal Gadot, (nothing TOO amazing here…)
Danny actually had announced weeks before release, which was something that really peaked my interest, that he would be using portions of not only his Batman theme but John Williams’ Superman theme as well. These two scores are just so brilliant and definitely give me a sense of nostalgia.
I occasionally wake up and think maybe it didn’t actually happen and I had dreamt the whole thing. Thanks for bringing me aboard. I love my job!
